Originally built by angels, the art deco noir metropolis is now ruled by five demon crime families battling for supremacy.
Alliances that have facilitated peace between the families are being strained to a breaking point as the powerful magic-enhancing substance called Halo seems to be running out and someone known as "The Adversary" exerts power.
