Fey Elf Duelist - Alysion of the Spotless Wood

A Feywalker raised in the depths of Renmaeth’s Dream itself. Alysion is known to be a Planewalker in his own realm, yet seldom does he speak of his ventures upon Tharador’s verdant lands. Their views of Tharador are drawn from idolised orations from millennia past, a far cry from the Tharador of today where death and destruction stalk its woods.

A Fey Elf who has walked between realms for many centuries, an ambassador of the Fey upon the plane of Minera. By his people, Alysion is seen as a wanderer between worlds, an outsider who wanders between both their plane and Minera. Yet much of his life was spent in the heart of Renmaeth’s Dream, in the Fey World. In the Fey’s lands that mirror the forest of Formen, Alysion was raised. These lands were known as the Spotless Wood, unmarred by the meddling of Man in the world above, they were revered with a form of sanctity among his kin.

Yet Alysion was not destined to enjoy the solace and tranquility of his home; he, like his father’s before him, was bound to be a bridge between Fey and Tharador. His people called him a Planewalker, and those in Tharador knew him as a Feywalker. With feet in both worlds, he never felt at home in either, and both saw him as an outsider, an alien from an exotic place. Seldom did he speak of his ventures to Tharador among his Fey kin, despite the insistence of the young and eager who saw Alysion as a mysterious hero, venturing into dangerous, far off lands.

Ignorance shrouded the rabble of Alysion’s purpose, and the necessity of him and his kind to ensure the existence of the Fey. Threats on Tharador constantly arose to the Four Pillars and other sources of power that bind the Fey to Tharador. Should him and those like him cease to exist, the Fey would have few representatives on Tharador’s surface where the threats arise, and eventually, none would come to care, nor remember these place’s importance. He is an ambassador to those who live in ignorance, one who is trained with both blade and tongue. Now he must defend his homeland of the Spotless Wood, now under threat by the cataclysmic destruction wrought by the end of the Liturium War, where even Formen’s reflection in the Fey World is in strife.
