FF Draft - Chocobo Racing Event Series Ticket - Jul 05

Chocobo Racing Events are the weekly Booster Draft and Sealed event based on the FINAL FANTASY VII mini-game "Chocobo Racing". Whenever players play Draft or Sealed events with Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY in your store, earning points to reach special rewards just for this event.Want a way to play that offers a level playing field and lets you check out new cards at the same time? Then a limited format like booster draft may be for you. Unlike constructed formats, where you arrive with a carefully constructed deck ready to play, limited formats allow you to build a deck from new cards as part of the game.

Players will earn points that accumulate with each new event they participate in, bringing them closer to the rewards each time they play.

As players enjoy racing around the track throughout the season, they'll earn a set number of points that build toward rewards.

Earn points for the following:

• Players earn 3 points for each Draft of Sealed event (excluding Prerelease) they attend.
• Players earn 1 point for each match they win in a qualifying event.
• Existing players that bring in a new player who signs up for a Wizards Account and participates in a qualifying event earn 1 point.

When a player reaches 10 cumulative points, they earn a foil Chocobo art print. When a player reaches 20 cumulative points, they earn a Chocobo Pinfinity AR pin!

After the final event (July 12th) top racer will win the Chocobo Racing Series Trophy!

Join us as we play with this exciting new Magic Set. All players will receive 3 Play Boosters of Final Fantasy with which to draft with.

At the start of booster draft, each player opens a booster pack and picks a single card. (Don’t show the other players what you pick!) Then everyone passes the rest of their pack to player on their left, each player then picks a card from the pack they just received before passing again. This process continues until all the cards in those packs have been drafted. Then each player opens a second pack, but this time, you pass the pack to your right. After all those cards are drafted, you do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again.

Once all the packs have been drafted, everyone builds a deck from the cards they have selected. You may add as many basic lands (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests) to your deck as you’d like supplied by the store, but each deck must have at least 40 cards.

Players who go 3-0 in swiss rounds will receive$35 store credit, as well as a random promos.
