MTGAetherdrift Draft Ticket - Feb 15

Aetherdrift follows Chandra Nalaar as she competes in the Ghirapur Grand Prix, a death-defying interplanar circuit race across Amonkhet, Avishkar and Muraganda. The racers come from near and far, the competition is fierce and the stakes are high, as her objective is the incredible prize only given to the race's champion: the Aetherspark.

Want a way to play that offers a level playing field and lets you check out new cards at the same time? Then a limited format like booster draft may be for you. Unlike constructed formats, where you arrive with a carefully constructed deck ready to play, limited formats allow you to build a deck from new cards as part of the game.

Join us as we play with this exciting new Magic Set. All players will receive 3 Play Boosters of MTG Aetherdrift with which to draft with.

At the start of booster draft, each player opens a booster pack and picks a single card. (Don’t show the other players what you pick!) Then everyone passes the rest of their pack to player on their left, each player then picks a card from the pack they just received before passing again. This process continues until all the cards in those packs have been drafted. Then each player opens a second pack, but this time, you pass the pack to your right. After all those cards are drafted, you do the same with the third pack, passing to the left again.

Once all the packs have been drafted, everyone builds a deck from the cards they have selected. You may add as many basic lands (Plains, Islands, Swamps, Mountains, and Forests) to your deck as you’d like supplied by the store, but each deck must have at least 40 cards.

Players who go 3-0 in swiss rounds will receive $20 store credit, as well as Promo packs to be given away to top players during the event
